PF 20k/DPM/L - Solid State Liquid Cooled FM Transmitter

20000 W solid state FM transmitter designed to operate in the 87.5 - 108 MHz frequency range for FM radio broadcasting applications. It is composed of:

• DPM 120
• KF 20k/L
• RK 2x19-41U cabinet.

Available also with dual exciter option to grant the maximum redundancy even in case of failure of one of the exciter, the FM signal is characterized by an excellent signal/noise ratio and by negligible residual AM and FM: all this guarantees the best broadcasting quality.

The PF 20k/DPM/L is broadband, so no adjustments are required for full power operation in the whole 87.5÷108 MHz band, it is also frequency agile thanks to the instant LCD front panel frequency programmability with 10kHz steps and without any other tuning or adjustment. .

All the measures and the main parameters of the transmitter are indicated on the display of the amplifier (forwarded and reflected power, voltages and currents of each single pallet, internal temperature) and also all the alarm indication (VSWR, overtemperature, overdrive, ecc.).

In case of fault of the amplifier or antenna system, a protection board internal to each RF modules lowers automatically the output power, in order to bring back the operating conditions to a safe area without, however, causing a total system shut down.

A remote control with Web Server, SMS and SNMP Client (Simple Network Management Protocol) are available as option for the remote visualization and control of the amplifier parameters.
It’s possible to remotely visualize of all the measures and alarm indications using an Internet browser (Microsoft Explorer 6.0+ or other with the WEB SERVER option) or with short messages on the portable phone (SMS option).

In this liquid cooled transmitter an oversized heat exchanger suitable for outdoor or indoor installation and equipped with single or double (optional) pump system for maximum redundancy, is the main component. A special design of liquid cooled heatsinks inside the amplifier and a low pressure liquid distribution system are some of the main characteristics of the DB liquid cooling system, to assure very high reliability, easy installation and very high cooling efficiency.
This system is designed to be perfectly suitable for very hard climatic conditions.
